One of the major challenges I set for myself in 2024 was completing an International Wealth Management certificate course at AUREP, a leading institution in Clermont-Ferrand. Balancing my commitments—dancing at the Opera, meeting with my clients at PerformanceS by EMD, and studying—was quite intense. But I recently received good news: I passed the exam! For now, I’ve decided to take a break from studying and perhaps take on another course in a year. This means that in 2025, I should have a little more time than last year—at least free from studying.
My next performance is in just a week, in Lisbon, where I’ll be dancing Prélude à l’après-midi d’un Faune, a solo by Wun Sze Chan, for the first time. This will be performed live with pianist Alexandre Tharaud. Watch short film here.
Then, from early March to mid-April, I will likely be performing the Bluebird Pas de Deux in Sleeping Beauty with the Paris Opera Ballet—a huge challenge. I previously danced this pas de deux during the Soirée Jeunes Danseurs, an evening showcasing young talents at Garnier, but I had a difficult experience with it. This time, I am determined to make it a success. More details here.
Meanwhile, I am organizing my first Ballet Gala at the Hong Kong Arts Festival in collaboration with David Makhateli from D&D Arts Production. We are inviting major ballet stars from around the world, including Alina Cojocaru, Dorothée Gilbert, Mathieu Ganio, Kentaro Mitsumori, Madeline Woo… and many more. The challenge? I will also be performing in the gala myself, dancing Manfred solo by Nureyev. In addition, an exhibition featuring Charles Jude’s private collection on Rudolf Nureyev will be displayed in the theatre’s main foyer. This exciting event will take place on March 21st and 22nd at the Hong Kong Cultural Center, Grand Theatre. More information here.
Last but not least, I just learned that after Sleeping Beauty at the Opéra Bastille, I will be performing in Manuel Legris’ Sylvia and have been offered the role of Un Faune. I have never seen this ballet before and have no idea yet what this role entails, but it seems to be quite a challenge. I am determined to make it a success and hope to make the most of this opportunity.
I almost forgot! On March 20th, I will be hosting another reception at my wealth management firm, PerformanceS by EMD, inviting artists in France under the intermittent du spectacle status. This is a privileged system in France that provides artists with a certain level of social protection. However, it remains quite general and isn’t always tailored to individual circumstances, depending on one’s profession and personal situation. Together with a specialized insurance company, we will present the different social protection schemes available to intermittents du spectacle in France.
The next few months will be filled with challenges, but I’ll do my best—and hopefully have some fun along the way and some rest afterwards.
Oh, but by then… it’ll be tax season!

Congratulations for passing the exam!
Your Debussy is amazing! Keep going! 😚
