Today is 17th January 2021 already. It took me 17 days to write and to wish you a happy new year 2021! After a very special 2020, with this unprecedented global pandemic, may this new year be more peaceful and most importantly, good health.
The sanitary situation is not so well in France. The numbers seem to be going up again and the government just announced a curfew for the whole country from 6pm. The small businesses are going to suffer again, while the cafés, restaurants, and cultural venues must remain closed to public. In the Paris Opera, we were looking forward to our gala with Défilé on 27th January, in which I might have the chance to perform in Études (Lander), and Forsythe’s Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, one of my dream ballets! Following the new measures, we will film the performance, and will not be able to perform in front of an audience before mid-February.
Despite the disappointment, this new year of 2021 started quite pleasantly for me. Having plenty of exciting projects apart from dancing certainly help me to go through this strange period with a peaceful mind. After around 10 years living here, I feel better and better in Paris. During the weekends, walking carelessly in the streets of Paris, admiring the beautiful Haussmannian architecture under the sunlight and a blue sky….. even 10 years later I still feel amazed time after time. Strange times like these allow us to think more and to focus on our longterm goals.
Now that my internship is over, in the coming weeks I will hand in my internship report and pass my oral exam. Then, another exciting project is studying financial literacy in young athletes, which will be the topic of my master thesis at Grenoble Ecole de Management, my business school. This coming Wednesday, after a couple of months of preparation, an exam of the certification of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) is waiting for me! And a few more personal goals I set for myself to achieve in 2021.

Quel travail il faut, pour arriver à la perfection !
Ce sont des jours et des heures de travail qu’il faut effectuer sans relâche même si cela est difficile et rude : le résultat d’un travail excellent est la clef de ta réussite n’est ce pas ?
Effectivement il faut continuer à s’étonner de tout ce que l’on voit ou découvre pour la première fois !
C’est le secret de prendre “quelques moments de bonheur” en cette période sinistre due au Virus !
C’est important d’avoir les pieds sur terre et l’esprit en harmonie avec soi même n’est ce pas Chun ?
Tes études sont en lien avec ta reconversion dans plusieurs années et il est primordial de réussir tes examens pour tes diplômes futurs !!
Par ce modeste message reçois Chun tous mes encouragements et tout mon soutien tant pour la suite de ta carrière artistique (Opéra de Paris) mais également pour la réussite de tes diplômes pour tes acquis professionnels complémentaires. Je te souhaite une excellente et belle année 2021 et ce malgré le Virus qui nous paralyse tous dans nos vie et nos projets.
Il ne faut jamais perdre l’espoir d’une vie meilleure et avoir toujours “cette lumière de générosité et d’humanité dans nos yeux”, “poursuivre son chemin avec l’amour et la générosité au cœur qui nous font réussir notre vie personnelle”.
